Welcome all KLI Summer special students. This is housing application notice for MUAK house 1 and 2.

Please read all articles to not miss any information.

Important Note 

0. Use Google Chrome for language auto translation. Yonsei portal's ENG menu is currently not ready

A. This is only for the KLI summer special students whose class starts on 28 June 2024

B. All application should be made in Yonsei portal. (No email or other directions)

C. No special exception for the fairness

1.     Housing Period: 25 June to 2 August 2024 (38 nights)

2.     Housing Fee: KRW 836,000/person

3.     Housing type: shared twin room in Muak 1 (male) and 2 (female)  *Search Muak house in the Youtube 

4.     Application period: AM 10:00 of 3rd April  to 23:59 5th April 2024 (Korean standard time)

5.     Application Result: PM 5:00 of 11 April 2024 (KST) in Yonsei Portal – Academic Info system - 기숙사(신촌) - Application/입사신청

6.     How to apply

A.    Use PC or tablet only

B.     Sign in Yonsei portal with your Yonsei I.D. number (https://portal.yonsei.ac.kr)

C.     Academic Information System - 기숙사(신촌) - Application 입사신청

      – select [KLI] 2024 Summer Special Muak house - Complete your application with the survey page.

Your I.D. is the Yonsei student I.D. number.

Those who has a problem with I.D. or passwords, please contact the KLI operator (yskli2@yonsei.ac.kr)

D.   무악1 for male / 무악2 for female and choose 2인실 (twin room)

E.   Due to limited numbers, assigning on a first come first serve basis

F.   If you choose a wrong category or the house, there will be no remedy for the fairness issue

7.     Payment

A.    Money should be delivered before PM 4:00 of 25 April 2024 (KST)

B.     FLYWIRE or WISE is recommended. Local bank wire transfers are also available.

*Bank info will be shown on your Yonsei Portal if you are selected as house residents.

C.     Bank handling fees will be charged on the student side. The final fee must match KRW 836,000. 

If your payment does not arrive within the due date, your room reservation will be canceled without a notice.

D.    Full refund available before 23:59 on 23 June 2024 (KST)

  8. Roommate

A. Roommate request is not 100% guaranteed due to limited space. 

B. Apply in Yonsei portal - Academic Info - 기숙사(신촌) - 룸메이트(Roommate) from 16 May until 23 May 2024.

9.    Required document: I.D. card and Tuberculosis result paper (Result negative) on move-in date.

Regardless of your nationality, all students should submit the test result on the check-in date. No move in without the result paper.

X-ray, skin, or blood tests are all acceptable and tests must be taken after 25 April 2024. (한국 교포/국적자도 테스트 필요)

English is recommended but others are also acceptable. 

10.     Facility

Beddings and furnitures will be provided. (No personal washes, towels or hairdryer)

Two students will share one room / Toilet and bathroom on each floor / Lounge / Gym / Laundry room / House Cafeteria in Muak2
